Hockey Themed Bar Mitzvah Invitations

A bar mitzvah is a boys right of passage at the age of 13, into manhood.  On this day, the boy sings passages to the Torah, which he had been studying for months before.  It is a very stressful and nerve-wracking day for the bar mitzvah boy.  The best part of a bar mitzvah is the after party.  If your son is a huge hockey fan, it might be fun to have his bar mitzvah with a hockey theme.  You could have posters of your son's favorite hockey team plastered across the walls and centerpieces on the table in shapes of the logo of his favorite team.  For example, if your son loves the New Jersey Devils you might want to have centerpieces with the New Jersey Devils logo.  It would also be an enormous treat if you hired one of the players on your son's favorite hockey team to attend the party and meet the bar-mitzvah boy.  For example, if your son's favorite team is the Devils, it would make him extremely happy to meet the Devils start player and goalie, Martin Brodeur.  If your bar mitzvah boy is a fan of some of the older players, it might be cool to have Scott Stevenes attend, an old Devils hero.  Invites for a hockey themed bar mitzvah should themselves be hockey themed.  You might decide to send each of your guests hockey pucks and attach the bar mitzvah invitations to the top.  However you decide to send out your bar mitzvah invitations, this is sure to be a great night.
